The Next Big Thing!

CCA has achieved the reputation for academics, athletics, and the arts with your absolute support. Our financial goal for the 2011-2012 academic year is to raise a minimum of $800,000 to bridge the gap between public funding and CCA's needs.

We need your contribution to meet our goals. If you have not donated, we ask you to please visit the Foundation's Donation Page for more information on our giving categories, contributing online, volunteer opportunities, and our Legacy Wall. Remember, every CCA discipline and every student depends on funding from your donations. Your generosity will enable CCA to continue to lead the county, and increasingly the country, in providing the very best education in our public schools today.

Athletics
Barb Horwitz, Board Liaison

Thanks to all our fall sports donators who have moved us closer to our financial goals. It is critical to support each athletic sport and achieve self-funding status.  If you have not donated yet, please contact your parent liaison.

Mark your calendar for the popular Raven Wishes Night, Wednesday, December 7 from 7:30-9:00 pm at the Del Mar Hilton. Meet Winter sport coaches and athletic personnel, enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres and reduced price drinks, and make your contribution for needed items and programs for CCA Athletics.

Counseling/ Humanities
Ellen Mitgang, Board Liaison

September's SAT/ACT boot camp was a success! Thanks to all who participated! If you are a parent of a sophomore or junior, don't miss "Making Conversation" to be held January 19 at CCA. This informative session will guide your student in how to prepare for and conduct an interview with college admissions. More details coming online and in next month's Canyon Crest Academy Foundation Newsletter!
